Ark Rhowmine is a team member for Grubb & Ellis | Pfefferle.  His primary responsibilities are to provide professional services for clients who wish to buy, sell or lease commercial and investment real estate properties.

Career Summary:

In January of 2004, Ark began his real estate career by joining Kilian & Co. Realty as a licensed real estate agent and later that same year joined Keller Williams Integrity Realty.  In April of 2007, Ark obtained his real estate broker’s license.  Ark’s professional practice grew to more than $4 million in sales in 2007.  Experienced in residential real estate, Ark focused his interest on investment real estate along with small commercial properties.

Prior to real estate,  He had 23 years of health care administration experience, of which 20 years specializing in medical and dental group management.  During that same period of time, Ark was involved in physician and dental recruitment, acquiring medical and dental clinics and construction of clinics.   In addition, he developed a strong background in contract negotiation, financial analysis and budget, medical practice credentialing and certification.

In July of 2008, Ark joined Grubb & Ellis | Pfefferle as Commercial Real Estate Agent.  This move has allowed him to combine his executive experience in health care administration with his real estate profession.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Systems Management from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan in 1980.

Masters Degree in Public Administration - Health Care Administration from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1992.

Professional and Community Affiliations:

Ark Rhowmine has always believed in being involved in the community he lives and works in.

Habitat for Humanity of Wausau: Currently, Ark is President of Habitat for Humanity of Wausau.  He has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2004.  HFH of Wausau is building 4 homes a year for those who live in substandard living.

Central Wisconsin Board of Realtors – Board of Directors: Ark was elected to a three-year term with CWBR as a Board of Director member in September 2008.

South Area Business Association of Wausau – Board of Directors: As a member he is able to network with area business members and remain updated on community events.

Ducks Unlimited – Wausau Chapter:  He has been a committee member of the Wausau Area DU Chapter for seven years.  And prior to coming to Wausau,  Ark has been involved with the Ducks in Michigan for more than twenty five years as a committee member.  Even though Ark does not duck hunt, he believes in wetlands preservation which benefits all wildlife and mankind.

Hobbies and Interests:

Traveling:  Ark wouldn’t think twice about getting in his Jeep and driving to Michigan or Alabama to visit his relatives, or fly to Alaska to see his children and grandchildren.

Hunting: He is an avoid hunter of birds, small game and the white tail.  His wishes are to hunt Alaska- Caribou in Alaska with his son, who lives in Alaska.

Woodworking: Ark has been known to make furniture for family members and himself.

Fine Dining: Fine Dining could be defined as enjoying oriental duck at the Mandarin to slicing into a medium-rare prime rib at the Pinewood Supper Club with Linda.
